RHS STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS
New student council officers are nominated and voted for by members of each class at the beginning or the end of each academic school year. Seventh through twelfth grade students will elect the following officers and representatives for each respective class:
Class President
Class Vice President
Class Secretary
Class Treasurer
Class Historian
Class Representative (1 boy and 1 girl)
The above two groups of students will make up the Ragland High School Student Government Association (RHS SGA). The RHS SGA will be charged with managing a wide range of events, activities, programs, policies and initiatives around school. The SGA is the VOICE of the student body at Ragland High School. These students are trained in a comprehensive leadership program instilling character qualities through community service, leadership conferences, school-wide activities on campus, and helping people in need.
Our Ragland High School SGA is the perfect training ground for future leaders for and from our community.
